Two weeks ago, MJF retained the AEW World Championship by defeating Jay White at Full Gear. MJF suffered a dislocated hip after performing an Elbow Drop on White onto the floor. However, he fixed his hip issue backstage at the show.
Today, AEW World Champion announced on X that he is dealing with another injury. MJF stated that he got an MRI of his shoulder, and it revealed that he had a torn labrum. However, MJF won’t relinquish his title. He will defend the Triple B against Samoa Joe at Worlds End as originally planned. The post has now been deleted.
“I just got an MRI.
I tore my labrum in my left shoulder.
I’ll be defending my title at worlds end.
I believe in AEW.”
