Goldberg last wrestled in WWE at Elimination Chamber PLE in 2022. The WWE Hall of Famer put Roman Reigns over in the bout. In December of last year, Goldberg’s contract with WWE expired.
The 57-year-old stated in several interviews that WWE promised him a proper retirement match. However, the company didn’t give him what he wanted.
Recently, Goldberg appeared on “Steven & Captain Evil,” where he accused Vince McMahon. Goldberg called McMahon a piece of sh-t for failing to fulfill his demand.
On X, Ivar stated that he wants to be the opponent for Goldberg’s retirement match.

Ivar began a single run on the RAW brand after his tag team partner Erik underwent neck fusion surgery. The former WWE Tag Team Champion last competed on the December 18th episode of RAW, where he defeated Akira Tozawa.
