WWE Plan For Judgment Day After Dominik’s NXT North American Title Win

By The Spotlight StaffJuly 21, 2023
WWE Plan For Judgment Day After Dominik's NXT North American Title Win

Earlier this month, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes invited Judgment Day to appear on NXT. The faction arrived at the brand on the July 11th episode of NXT, where Finn Balor and Damian Priest defeated Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in a tag team match.

This past Wednesday, Dominik Mysterio defeated Wes Lee to become the new NXT North American Champion. Judgment Day’s appearance made a huge impact on the ratings. The show drew 746,000 viewers which is an increase of 11% from last week.

Recently, WRKD Wrestling reported that the company considered Judgment Day as the successor to The Bloodline’s storyline.

PWInsider reported that Judgment Day will consistently feature on NXT television going forward.

“We are told that currently, there are plans in place for at least the next month, possibly longer, for members of Judgment Day to appear regularly on NXT TV as well, beyond the 2023 Great American Bash PPV.”

The Great American Bash is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 30th at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas. Dirty Dom is set to defend his NXT North American Title at the show.
