This past Tuesday, Carmelo Hayes and Trick William kicked off NXT to address their loss to Judgment Day last week. Ilja Dragunov interrupted the NXT Champion and confronted him ahead of their Championship match at Great American Bash.
Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer defeated Los Lotharios. After the match, Humberto Carrillo blamed Angel Garza for the loss.
Kiana James defeated Gigi Dolin. In the closing moment, Dollis attempted to hit James with a bag, but the referee snatched it away. James then hit a 401K to win the match.
Bronco Nima and Lucien Price defeated Axiom and Scrypts in a tag team match. During the match, Scrypts turned on Axiom.
Thea Hail defeated Elektra Lopez in a single match. Hail then challenged Tiffany Stratton to a submission match at Great American Bash. Stratton initially refused the challenge. Hail then put a Kimura Lock on Stratton. NXT Women’s Champion then accepted Hail’s challenge.
In the main event, Dominik Mysterio defeated Wes Lee to become the NXT North American Champion.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the July 18th episode of WWE NXT drew 746,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (July 11) drew 671,000 viewers on USA Network a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
