Last month, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks made the highly anticipated comeback at Full Gear pay-per-view to face Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Titles. However, The Elite was unable to win the titles.
AEW then announced The Elite vs. Death Triangle in a best-of-seven series for the World Trios Championship. The first two matches were won by Death Triangle.
The third match of the series took place last night on AEW Dynamite from Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, IN. In the closing moment of the match, Matt Jackson pinned PAC to pick up the victory for The Elite. However, Death Triangle has led the series 2-1.
