In the main event of last night’s AEW Full Gear, Jon Moxley defended his AEW World Championship against MJF. The match ended in a shocking way.
In the closing moment of the match, William Regal turned on Moxley and gave his brass knuckles to MJF. Then MJF knocked out Moxley using brass knuckles and won his first-ever AEW World Title.
The Blackpool Combat Club members Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta came to the ring after AEW Full Gear went off the air. They explained Moxley to what happened during the match.
As you can see in the following video clip, Moxley was furious after hearing the story.

During the AEW Full Gear press conference, MJF said the following,
“AEW is now destination television once again. This ship has been steered properly once again. This belt is the most important belt in this entire sport, and it’s thanks to 3 letters. It isn’t AEW, and I know for a fact it isn’t MOX… it’s MJF.”
