Vince McMahon Under Federal Probe Over Trafficking Allegations

Vince McMahon Under Federal Probe Over Trafficking Allegations

On January 25th, Janel Grant, a former employee, filed a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Grant alleged that she was abused and sexually exploited by her former employer.

Ann E. Callis, the attorney for Janel Grant, stated that her client wants to change WWE’s culture of corruption and also wants to encourage other victims to come forward.

Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis outright denied the allegations. However, Laurinaitis’ lawyer claimed that his client is also a victim in this case.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that federal authorities are currently investigating the misconduct allegations made against the former Executive Chairman of TKO Group, Vince McMahon. In recent months, prosecutors in New York have interviewed McMahon’s alleged victims.
