Last Monday, Lacey Evans posted a photo of herself on Instagram and indicated her departure from WWE. The company officially confirmed Evans’ exit two days later as they moved her into the alumni section of WWE.com on Wednesday.
In the past few months, Macey Estrella (Lacey Evans) posted video clips of building her café.
In an interview with The Island News, the former WWE superstar revealed that the Sunny Summers Café will be opening this Monday at 11:30 a.m. at 7 Robert Smalls Parkway in Beaufort.
In the same interview, Estrella explained why she left WWE. She stated that consistent traveling made it difficult for her to spend time with her family. Estrella said that she is grateful for her time in WWE. The 33-year-old said that she wanted to help the community with the café.
“I thought I could be of more assistance fighting a different fight than in the WWE ring, I want to focus on helping my community to fight against addiction and fight on the mental health side to normalize mental health issues… I wanted to create a space where people could come in and unplug from their devices, but also unplug from their minds as well.”
