Recently, several executives who worked with All Elite Wrestling since the early days departed from the company.
Megha Parekh, Kevin Sullivan, QT Marshall, Rafael Morffi and Dana Massie have all departed from Tony Khan’s company.
Parekh left the company to focus on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Marshall stated that he was leaving AEW due to the company following NJPW style.
During the AEW Worlds End media call, Tony Khan discussed the departures of long-time employees. Khan said that those executives made huge contributions to his company. Khan added that he is looking to hire more people to grow AEW.
“I have some pretty big things to announce going forward. Obviously, it’s a lot of people I really value. I could write a book on each of these people and I really value them. When you talk about Dana [Massie], Rafael [Morffi], and QT [Marshall], each of them has been with us since the beginning and made huge contributions to the company. It’s really very challenging to have people like that step away. The company is growing, and I’m very excited about what we’ll be doing in 2024. On the business side and operational side, the company continues to grow. I have certainly been looking at making more hires and growing the company. I’m working on stuff that I’m really excited about. At the end of the year, not unusual in businesses, for contracts and things to expire [on] December 31st and new cycles to start [on] January 1st. It’s going to be a new group and there will be new things happening and I’m really excited about it. I would be remiss not to say that I’m really grateful for all the contributions of the people just mentioned. Going forward, we’ll have new exciting things to announce and I’m looking forward to that. We’re working on cool stuff to continue growing the company on the wrestling side and most importantly, the business side.”
