Reason For Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh Stepped Back From AEW

Recently, Fightful Select reported that AEW Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh has stepped down from her duties. The Vice President of Live Events and Touring, Christopher Peck, currently oversees Parekh’s duties.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that Megha Parekh is still the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for the Jacksonville Jaguars, the football team currently owned by Tony Khan’s father, Shahid Khan. The reason Parekh stepped back from AEW duties is that she wants to concentrate on the football side and the new stadium deal.

Megha Parekh joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013 as Vice President and General Counsel. Parekh was promoted to her current role in 2016.
