Tony Khan Comments On AEW Dynamite Becoming #1 On Cable

This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite became one of the most anticipated shows after Tony Khan’s social media rant last week. The show featured Samoa Joe, Chris Jericho, Adam Page, Toni Storm, and many other talents.

Samoa Joe defended his AEW World Championship against Hook in the main event of the show. Joe retained the title after putting a Coquina Clutch on the FTW Champion.

This week’s AEW Dynamite drew an average of 891,000 viewers, with 0.33 in the 18-49 demographic. This is a 12% increase from last week’s show. This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked No. 1 among all cable shows as well.

On X, AEW President Tony Khan issued the following statement:

“Thanks to your incredible support, Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite on TBS was the #1 show on cable yesterday!
We’re grateful for your support for AEW + our unparalleled roster of wrestlers.
See you for a huge weekend on TNT starting tomorrow on #AEWRampage + Saturday #AEWCollision!”
