The drama between CM Punk and Adam Page is far from over. This past Saturday, several fans carried pro-Adam Page signs to AEW Collision. CM Punk noticed the signs and took shots at Page after the show went off the air. The Real World Champion said that Page can’t sell merchandise and draw ratings unlike him.
Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling stated that CM Punk felt bad after the shoot promo regarding Adam Page. Hausman also noted that Punk is keeping the door open for reconciling with The Elite. However, Fightful Select reported that The Elite doesn’t want to sit down with Punk to resolve the matter.
Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio said that CM Punk apologized to Adam Page via a text message. How Alvarez received that information remains a question.
In an interview with the “Battleground Podcast”, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about CM Punk and Adam Page drama. Khan said that he is glad fans are interested in AEW wrestlers and behind the scenes.
“I thought it was a great show Saturday night and I don’t have any further comment to that, but I am glad people are still very interested in our wrestlers and what’s happening after the wrestling shows. I think we’ll try to have a couple of great shows this week but certainly, there has been a lot of interest in what’s happening in AEW in and out of the ring.”
