CM Punk took shots at Adam Page after this past Saturday’s AEW Collision went off the air. Punk said that Page can’t sell merchandise and draw ratings.
“I went to a local supermarket and I figured out why they call him Hangman. It’s because the pegs in the toy aisle are full of Hangman action figures because nobody wants to buy them. He’s a peg warmer, unlike me who moves merchandise, and pops ratings and sells toys.”

Dave Meltzer stated that Adam Page wasn’t allowed to enter the Greensboro Coliseum, where AEW Collision took place this past Saturday. Meltzer noted that Matt Hardy and Ryan Nemeth were sent home after they were booked for Collision. Meltzer also said that Christopher Daniels isn’t allowed to appear on Saturday’s show.
Nick Hausman of “Haus Of Wrestling” reported that CM Punk regrets his comments regarding Adam Page. Punk is still willing to reconcile with The Elite. Hausman added that the way Christopher Daniels handled the All Out incident is the reason why he wasn’t allowed backstage on Collision.
Ryan Nemeth was sent home due to his tweet about CM Punk. The Real World Champion “is said to not be looking for any drama backstage at Collision and felt Nemeth’s previous comments showed his willingness to unnecessarily stir the pot in the locker room.”
Hausman further noted that they “have not heard anything in regard to Punk asking to have Page or Hardy not be present at the Greensboro Coliseum for the taping.”
