Shavkat Rakhmonov Reacts To Belal Muhammad Withdrawing From UFC 310

Shavkat Rakhmonov (18-0) was supposed to face Belal Muhammad (24-3, 1 NC) for the Welterweight Championship in the main event of UFC 310 on December 7. However, the fight had to be canceled due to Muhammad’s injury.

On Thursday, UFC Welterweight Champion stated that he had suffered a bone infection in his foot. UFC is currently looking for a replacement fight for the show.

Shavkat Rakhmonov wished Muhammad a speedy recovery and stated that he’s ready to fight for the interim title at UFC 310.

“Wishing Belal a quick recovery. We’ll meet when you’re back at 100%. For now, I’m ready to take on any contender for the interim title at #UFC310”

Rakhmonov last competed at UFC 296, where he defeated Stephen Thompson via rear-naked choke in round 2.
