Belal Muhammad Reveals Why He Pulled Out Of UFC 310 Fight Against Shavkat Rakhmonov

Last July, Belal Muhammad won the Welterweight Championship at UFC 304, defeating Leon Edwards via unanimous decision. Muhammad was supposed to defend his title for the first time at UFC 310 against Shavkat Rakhmonov.

On Instagram, UFC Welterweight Champion announced that he had to withdraw from UFC 310 due to a bone infection in his foot.

“Caught a bone infection in my foot .. had to put a picc line in my arm for iv antibiotics the next 6 weeks with no physical activity … Allahs plan is the best plan I’m sorry to everyone that were coming to see me Ill be back soon inshAllah”

UFC 310 is scheduled to take place on December 7 and the company is currently looking for a replacement fight for the event.
