Ronda Rousey departed WWE after competing at SummerSlam last August. Rousey competed against Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules match at the show.
Last month, Ronda Rousey wrestled her first non-WWE event. Rousey stepped back to the squared circle on October 26th at Lucha VaVoom Area 51, where she teamed up with Marina Shafir to defeat Taya Valkyrie and Brian Kendrick.
On Thursday, the Baddest Woman on the Planet competed in her second bout on the independent circuit. Ronda Rousey and her tag team partner Marina Shafir faced Athena and Billie Starkz in a Tag Team match at Wrestling Revolver’s Unreal.
At one point during the match, Starkz delivered a German Suplex that nearly ended Rousey’s career. Starkz dumped Rousey on her head. Luckily, Rousey was able to get back up. The bout ended in a disqualification after Athena hit Rousey with the ROH Women’s Championship.
