Yuya Uemura Removed From NJPW G1 Climax 34 Due To Injury

Yuya Uemura last competed on August 10th at NJPW G1 Climax 34, where he defeated Yota Tsuji. Unfortunately, Uemura sustained an arm injury during the match.

NJPW announced that Yuya Uemura won’t be able to compete for the remainder of the tournament. The company added, “Uemura will finish his campaign on eight points, while his last league match with Boltin Oleg on August 14 will be forfeit, Boltin moving to end his campaign on eight points as a result.”

Uemura was supposed to team up with TAKA Michinoku to face Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg on August 12th. NJPW stated that the bout had been canceled due to Uemura’s injury.
