Earlier this month, Roman Reigns successfully retained his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship by defeating Cody Rhodes in the main event on night two of WrestleMania 39.
Reigns last appeared on the April 3rd episode of Monday Night RAW where he was supposed to team with Solo Sikoa to face Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar in a tag team match. Reigns and Sikoa left the ring after Lesnar attacked Rhodes. Since then, Reigns disappeared from WWE television.
Backlash premium live event is scheduled to take place on May 6th from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was reported that Roman Reigns will not be competing at Backlash PLE.
Yesterday, WWE announced that King & Queen of the Ring which is set to take place on Saturday, May 27th at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has been renamed to “Night Of Champions.”

Ringside News has reported that Tribal Chief is scheduled to compete at Night Of Champions PLE. However, there’s no word on who would be Reigns’ opponent.
“WWE surprised a lot of fans when they announced that Night of Champions is going down in Saudi Arabia. We have been able to confirm that Roman Reigns will be on that show.”
