Rankings Update After UFC 309: Jon Jones Surpasses Alex Pereira On P4P List, Charles Oliveira Returns & Israel Adesanya Out

This past Saturday, Jon Jones defeated Stipe Miocic via TKO in round 3 to retain the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 309. With the victory, Jones moved up one spot and ranked No. 2 in the men’s pound-for-pound list. UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira fell one spot and ranked No. 3. UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev remains No. 1 on the list.

Charles Oliveira defeated Michael Chandler by unanimous decision in the co-main event of UFC 309. Oliveira returned to the No. 15 spot in the men’s pound-for-pound rankings. Israel Adesanya departed from the list.

Shamil Gaziev entered the heavyweight rankings following Stipe Miocic’s retirement. Gaziev ranked No. 15.
