Randy Orton Reportedly Fully Recovered From Back Surgery

Randy Orton last competed on the May 20th, 2022 episode of SmackDown, where he and Matt Riddle dropped their RAW Tag Team Titles to The Usos in a Tag Team Title Unification match. Since then, Orton was written off from WWE television.

Last November, Randy Orton underwent back fusion surgery. WWE Hall of Famer Bob Orton recently said that his son is training for a comeback. However, doctors have advised Orton not to wrestle yet.

Earlier this month, Matt Hardy revealed that he had a long conversation with Randy Orton. The Viper told Matt that his body was messed up after doing the RKO for years.

On The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle provided a brief update on the condition of Randy Orton. Angle stated that Orton is fully recovered from back surgery.

“Doing good man. He recovered from his back surgery. I think he’s gonna come back pretty damn soon. He’s doing much better, yes.”
