Matt Riddle Reportedly Removed From WWE Events

Matt Riddle last competed on the September 4th episode of Monday Night RAW, where he teamed up with Drew McIntyre to face The Viking Raiders. However, Riddle and McIntyre were unable to win the match.

On Sunday, Matt Riddle stated on Instagram that he was inappropriately touched by a Port Authority police officer at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Riddle also posted the photo of that police officer on Instagram. However, he deleted the post a few hours later. As of now, Port Authority investigating the incident.

PWInsider reported that Matt Riddle has been removed from this weekend’s live events. Riddle didn’t appear on last night’s RAW as well. Sources told PWInsider that The Original Bro is dealing with a “medical illness.”

“The word making the rounds backstage at Monday Night Raw tonight among talents was that Matt Riddle was pulled due to a “medical illness.”

As we noted earlier tonight, Riddle is also no longer expected to work this weekend’s WWE live events in Idaho and Washington State.”
