Jon Moxley was checked by doctors after the match. A few minutes later, Moxley was able to stand on his own. He was then walked backstage through the crowd.
Tony Khan and members of the Blackpool Combat Club checked Jon Moxley when he arrived backstage. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that Moxley suffered a minor concussion.

Rey Fenix wasn’t supposed to win the International Title last night. According to PWInsider, “They improvised on the fly after Moxley was hurt.” A source told PWInsider that “Moxley called for the new finish on the spot.”
