Randy Orton last competed on the May 20th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where Orton and his tag team partner, Matt Riddle faced The Usos in a Winner Take All Tag Team Title Unification Match. The Usos won the match with help from Roman Reigns.
The Bloodline then brutally attacked both Orton and Riddle after the match. A few days later on RAW, Matt Riddle announced that Randy Orton has been dealing with back issues over the past couple of years.
There were numerous reports came about Orton’s back injury and all of them pointed out that Orton’s back problem had gotten worse. The reports also stated that WWE fears Orton will have to undergo surgery.
PWInsider has provided a brief update on Randy Orton and reported that Orton was seen in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday. The injured WWE superstars often go to Birmingham for surgeries and treatment.
“WWE star Randy Orton, who has not performed for the company since a May episode of Monday Night Raw, was spotted yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama.
Orton has been out of action with what is believed to be a back issue.”
