Trinity Fatu formerly known as Naomi last competed on the May 15th, 2021 WWE Live Event, where she and Sasha Banks defeated Natalya & Shayna Baszler for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. A day later, Naomi and Banks walked out of WWE.
Last month, Naomi responded to a fan on Instagram and stated that she is no longer under contract with WWE. Recently, Samuray Del Sol (former WWE superstar Kalisto) posted a video clip of Naomi training with him.
Yesterday, Impact Wrestling announced that they have a major surprise for fans at Spring Slugfest, which is scheduled to take place at the Cicero Stadium in Chicago this Friday.
PWInsider reported that Trinity Fatu is set to make her Impact Wrestling debut this Friday. They also noted that it won’t be a one-time appearance.
“PWInsiderElite.com has confirmed that Impact Wrestling’s big Chicago surprise for their TV Tapings this weekend is the debut of former WWE star Trinity Fatu aka the former Naomi. This would be Fatu’s first pro wrestling appearance since exiting WWE. We have also confirmed this is not planned to be a one-time appearance and will be the start of a run for the former Smackdown Women’s Champion in Impact.”
