Bryan Danielson suffered a broken orbital bone on the October 25th episode of AEW Dynamite. Danielson underwent surgery last month. He is currently recovering from the injury. However, Tony Khan announced that Danielson would compete in the Continental Classic.
Last Saturday on AEW Collision, Bryan Danielson defeated Eddie Kingston in the Blue League. Danielson competed in the bout wearing an eye patch.
AEW taped the upcoming episode of Collision last night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Bryan Danielson faced Andrade El Idolo in the main event of the show.
At one point, Andrade punched Danielson’s injured eye, which resulted in Danielson bleeding from above the eye. Andrade won the bout with a Hammer Lock DDT and earned three points in the Blue League.
Bryan Danielson was checked by the medical team after the match. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta were also with him in the ring.
