Britt Baker Not Medically Cleared To Compete, Removed From AEW Dynamite

This past Sunday, Adam Cole was supposed to compete in a match against Tom Lawlor at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Tony Khan pulled Cole from the show and sent him home due to an illness. However, Adam Cole was in a pre-recorded backstage segment with MJF on last night’s AEW Dynamite.

Adam Cole’s fiancée, Britt Baker was supposed to wrestle Ruby Soho in the quarter-finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament last night. An hour before the show aired, Tony Khan announced that Baker is dealing with an illness. Therefore, the match between Britt Baker and Ruby Soho will take place next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.

“Due to illness, 2022 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Winner Dr. Britt Baker DMD isn’t cleared to wrestle tonight vs Ruby Soho

Ruby Soho will be in action tonight, + the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinal Britt Baker vs Ruby Soho will take place next week.”
