Last night, AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam took place at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York. MJF defended his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in the main event of the show.
In the closing moment, Samoa Joe put a Coquina Clutch on MJF. Adam Cole then came to the ringside area to encourage MJF. However, Cole suffered an unfortunate injury while running toward the ringside. He jumped off the ramp and then limped. Cole has suffered a foot/ankle injury.
Fightful Select reported that Adam Cole went to the hospital for treatment after AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Cole was seen on crutches.
“Adam Cole sustained an injury jumping to ringside, and limped following that, including backstage. We’re told he was in obvious pain backstage and was taken to the hospital. He’s since left and was seen on crutches.”
