WWE’s Ivar Undergoes Surgery

By The Spotlight StaffMay 17, 2024
WWE's Ivar Undergoes Surgery

Ivar last competed on the April 30th episode of NXT, where he faced Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship. The 40-year-old was written off from WWE television after being attacked by Gallus on this past Tuesday’s NXT.

Ivar was supposed to face Tyler Bate in the semifinals of the WWE Speed Championship No. 1 contender tournament. On Thursday, WWE announced that the Viking Raiders member suffered an injury and was out of the tournament.

On X, Andrews Sports Medicine posted the following:

“Thank you @Ivar_WWE for trusting in Dr. Andrew Cordover and his team to help you achieve #VictoryOverInjury!”
