Bobby Lashley was supposed to compete against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39. Recently, multiple news outlets reported that Wyatt has been dealing with a “physical issue.” According to Ringside News, Wyatt is not medically cleared to wrestle. Therefore, WWE removed Lashley vs. Wyatt match from WrestleMania 39 card.
Last week, Bobby Lashley tweeted that he will fight with anyone at WrestleMania 39.
“I’ve worked too hard to be denied. I will be ready to fight on the biggest stage of them all, #WrestleMania. I don’t care who it is, somebody will feel the wrath of the All-Mighty.”
Bobby Lashley
WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport that Triple H has a backup plan for Bobby Lashley at the Showcase of the Immortals. They noted that the match between Lashley and LA Knight is pitched for WrestleMania 39.
“A personal health issue on Bray Wyatt’s part is going to keep Bobby Lashley off the WrestleMania card. With that said, I know that there’s a backup plan… I do know that they’re gonna get Lashley on the card in some form.”
WrestleVotes
“I heard the plans for Bobby had something to do with La Knight. I think there’s a tie-in with some type of segment that LA Knight is going to be involved in.”
