This past Friday’s SmackDown took place at Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. LA Knight kicked off the show. However, Knight was interrupted by Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa. Wise Man praised Knight. Jimmy then grabbed the microphone and told LA Knight that he wouldn’t go to Fastlane. Jimmy and Solo tried to attack The Megastar. John Cena came to Knight’s aid. LA Knight then challenged Jimmy Uso to a match.
Charlotte Flair and Asuka faced Damage CTRL in a Tag Team match. Charlotte delivered a Natural Selection on Bayley to pick up the victory.
Bobby Lashley defeated Rey Mysterio with a Spear.
In the backstage, Rhea Ripley told Paul Heyman that Judgment Day and Bloodline should team together. Heyman said that he needed authorization from “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns.
Dragon Lee defeated Austin Theory.
In the main event, LA Knight faced Jimmy Uso. However, the match ended in a disqualification after Solo Sikoa’s interference. John Cena then came to the ring. Judgment Day also came to the ringside area. Judgment Day and Bloodline struck a deal. They tried to attack Cena and Knight. However, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso came to Cena and Knight’s aid. Babyfaces got the upper hand in the brawl.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the October 6th episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.319 million viewers on FOX and a 0.64 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
