This past Friday’s SmackDown took place at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show was broadcast on FS1.
Roman Reigns kicked off SmackDown to sign the contract for his match against LA Knight at Crown Jewel. However, Knight interrupted Reigns’ entrance and came to the ring. Knight then sat on Reigns’ chair. Knight and Reigns exchanged a few words, which escalated into a brawl. Jimmy Uso came to Reigns’ aid. The Megastar put Jimmy through the table.
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins defeated Santos Escobar and Carlito in a Tag Team match.
Shotzi defeated Chelsea Green.
John Cena came to the ring and addressed the fans ahead of the Crown Jewel match. Cena said that he must win the bout. Paul Heyman interrupted Cena. Heyman reminded Cena of how he was called up to the main roster in early 2000. Wise Man said that Cena is the best talker in WWE. However, he also said that Cena wouldn’t be able to talk after Solo Sikoa delivered a Samoan Spike. The Enforcer ambushed The GOAT.
Dragon Lee defeated Cedric Alexander.
In the main event, LA Knight defeated Jimmy Uso. Roman Reigns attempted to attack Knight after the match. However, The Megastar hit Reigns with a BFT.
According to Nielsen via SportsTVRatings, the October 27th episode of WWE SmackDown drew 1.145 million viewers on FS1 and a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The last time the July 21st episode of SmackDown was broadcasted on FS1, which drew 1.230 million viewers and a 0.36 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
