This past Friday’s SmackDown took place at the O2 arena in London, England. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens kicked off the show and successfully retained the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships by defeating Pretty Deadly.
Austin Theory defeated Ridge Holland. Following the match, Theory attacked Holland. However, Sheamus came to the ring to help Holland. Karrion Kross challenged AJ Styles to a match next Friday on SmackDown.
The match between Asuka and Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Championship ended in a disqualification after Bianca Belair’s interference.
Grayson Waller hosted “The Grayson Waller Effect” with the special guest Logan Paul. LA Knight, Santos Escobar, and Butch interrupted the segment, which ended in a huge brawl. Later, Knight, Escobar, and Butch competed in a Triple Threat match. LA Knight pinned Escobar to win the match.

In the closing segment of SmackDown, The Usos interrupted Roman Reigns’ promo and tried to get Solo Sikoa to their side. Usos were then involved in a brawl with Reigns & Sikoa. SmackDown broadcast ended with Usos standing tall.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the June 30th episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.510 million viewers on FOX and a 0.69 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (June 23) drew 2.354 million viewers on FOX and a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
