This past Friday’s SmackDown took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Bianca Belair kicked off the show and said that she wanted a WWE Women’s Championship opportunity. Damage CTRL interrupted Belair. Dakota Kai told Belair that she should beat every member of Damage CTRL to get a title match. Charlotte Flair and Shotzi joined Belair. Babyfaces and heels then got into a brawl.
Bobby Lashley defeated Butch with a Spear.
Santos Escobar defeated Joaquin Wilde with a Phantom Driver. Escobar assaulted Wilde after the bout. Dragon Lee came to the ring to protect Wilde.
Logan Paul came to the ring and announced that there would be a tournament to determine the No. 1 contender for the United States Championship. Logan revealed the participants in the tournament. Kevin Owens came to the ring to confront Logan. Owens was then interrupted by Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. The Prizefighter KO’d Theory.
Kevin Owens defeated Grayson Waller.
Bianca Belair defeated Kairi Sane. Bayley tried to help Kairi at the ringside. However, Belair picked up the victory.
In the final segment, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis attempted to sign Randy Orton to their brands. Pearce told Orton he would give him a World Heavyweight Title match. Aldis told Orton he would give him every member of The Bloodline who took him out. Paul Heyman came to the ringside and told Orton that he would make the decision easy. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa tried to attack Orton. LA Knight came to Orton’s aid. The Viper chose the blue brand. Randy Orton then delivered an RKO to the SmackDown General Manager.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the December 1st episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.044 million viewers on FOX and a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
