WWE Royal Rumble: Roman Reigns Defeats Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn Betrays Bloodline, Jey Uso Left

In the main event of Royal Rumble, Roman Reign defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens came to the ring first after the video package. Roman Reigns along with Paul Heyman and Sami Zayn came later.

The crowd chanted “Sami Uso” when the match starts. Roman Reigns hit shoulder blocks on Kevin Owens. The Prizefight then hit a senton and cannonball on Reigns. The Tribal Chief then hit a vicious uppercut on Reigns. Owens threw Reigns outside and hit a splash. Reigns then hit a powerbomb on Owens. Reigns hit a superman punch and covered Owens but Owens kicked out at two. Kevin Owens then hit a Swanton bomb on Reigns.

Kevin Owens attempted to hit a moonsault but Reigns reversed it. Roman Reigns then hit a spear on Owens. The referee was knocked out. Owens then hit a pop-up powerbomb but the referee was nowhere to be seen. Reigns then hit a low blow on Owens.

The Tribal Chief ordered Sami Zayn to give him a chair. Zayn hesitated to give the chair. Owens hit a stunner but Reigns kicked out at two. Roman Reigns then hit a spear but Owens kicked out at two. Sami Zayn said Owens to stay down. Reigns then hit a spear on Owens through the barricade. Reigns hit another spear on Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Following the match, the Usos hit a one-D on Owens. Solo Sikoa then hit a hip attack on Owens. Bloodline then handcuffed Kevin Owens and hit superkicks multiple times. Roman Reigns then attempted to hit Owens with a chair but Sami stopped him. Reigns then told Sami to hit Owens with a chair. Sami Zayn then shocked the Bloodline and hit The Tribal Chief with a chair.

All the members of the Bloodline then attacked Sami Zayn except Jey Uso. The Right Hand Man left the ring.
