This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jey Uso kicked off the show. Sami Zayn came to the ring and said that he was happy to see Jey on Monday Night RAW. Sami also said that he was proud of Jey for being free from Roman Reigns. Both men then hugged each other.
Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle faced The Viking Raiders in a Tornado Tag Team Match. Kofi Kingston came to the ring during the match and attacked Erik and Ivar. However, Kofi accidentally hit a Trouble in Paradise on Riddle. The Viking Raiders then hit a Ragnarok on Riddle through a table to pick up the victory.
Seth Rollins offered Shinsuke Nakamura another World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. Nakamura rejected Rollins’ offer. The two then got into a brawl and Nakamura got the upper hand.
The match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet ended in a disqualification after Nakamura attacked Ricochet with a steel chair. Nakamura continued to assault Ricochet after the match. Seth Rollins then came for Ricochet’s aid.
JD McDonagh interrupted Judgment Day and gave Damian Priest a purple-colored Money in the Bank briefcase.
Shayna Baszler defeated Zoey Stark.
Raquel Rodriguez defeated Chelsea Green. After the match, Rodriguez announced that she would face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title next Monday on RAW.
The Miz attacked the invisible John Cena on Miz TV.
JD McDonagh defeated Sami Zayn with help from Dirty Dominik.
In the main event, Gunther defeated Chad Gable to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the September 4th episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.704 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.52 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (August 28) did an average of 1.677 million viewers on USA Network and a 0.51 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
