This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cody Rhodes kicked off the show to talk about Jey Uso. However, Cody was interrupted by “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio which led to a match between the two. The American Nightmare defeated Dominik with a Cross Rhodes.
After the match, Judgment Day surrounded Cody Rhodes. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came to Cody’s aid. Judgment Day then left through the crowd. Owens questioned Rhodes as to why Jey Uso was brought back to the RAW locker room. Cody and Sami then tried to convince Owens that Jey needed a second chance. Owens told both of them that he doesn’t trust Jey, but he trusts Cody and Sami.
Kofi Kingston defeated Ivar.
The match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet ended in a disqualification when Ricochet hit Nakamura with a steel chair. Seth Rollins and Nakamura got into a brawl after the match. Nakamura got the upper hand.
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven faced Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in a Tag Team match. However, the bout ended in a No Contest after Nia Jax attacked everyone.
“Big” Bronson Reed defeated Chad Gable.
Becky Lynch issued an NXT Women’s Title open challenge. Natalya accepted the challenge. However, The Queen of Hearts lost the bout.
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Giovanni Vinci.
In the main event, Drew McIntyre defeated Jey Uso. The Judgment Day attacked Jey after the match. Cody Rhodes came to save Jey.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the September 18th episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.331 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
