This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Seth Rollins kicked off the show to find out his next opponent. Drew McIntyre then came to the ring and challenged Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. A moment later, Damian Priest ambushed Seth Rollins. Dominik Mysterio then carried Money in the Bank briefcase, but McIntyre stopped him. The Scottish Warrior threw the briefcase away. The Visionary then delivered a Clothesline on the Señor Money in the Bank.
Ivar defeated Kofi Kingston in a Viking Rules match.
Raquel Rodriguez faced Nia Jax. However, the match ended in a disqualification after Rhea Ripley’s interference. Rhea attacked both Raquel and Jax. Shayna Baszler then came to the ring and assaulted Jax. Shayna and Rhea exchanged a few words. The Eradicator was then taken out by The Queen of Spades.
Michael Cole interviewed the newly crowned Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. Cole asked Cody about finishing the story. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens interrupted and challenged Cody and Jey for the titles.
Bronson Reed defeated Ricochet and Chad Gable to become the No. 1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Bronson will face Gunther for the title next Monday on RAW.
Drew McIntyre defeated JD McDonagh with a Claymore Kick.
Becky Lynch defeated Tegan Nox to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.
In the main event, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the October 9th episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.557 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.43 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
