This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The show kicked off with a huge brawl involving Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez, and Rhea Ripley.
The Eradicator then called out Judgment Day members to come to the ring. Rhea Ripley blamed “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest. Ripley told Dominik that he must bring back the NXT North American Championship.
Jey Uso interrupted The Judgment Day. Jey said, “It looks like there’s a new Tribal Chief on Monday nights, and apparently she has bigger balls than Roman Reigns ever did.” JD McDonagh then ambushed Jey. Dominik and Priest also attacked Jey before Cody Rhodes made the save.
Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci defeated The Alpha Academy in a Tag Team match.
“Big” Bronson Reed defeated Cedric Alexander with a Tsunami.
Gunther and Tomasso Ciampa signed a contract ahead of the Intercontinental Championship match. However, The Ring General agreed to put his title on the line in the main event of RAW.
Xavier Woods defeated Ivar. After the match, Ivar attacked both Kofi and Woods.
Shinsuke Nakamura ambushed Seth Rollins once again.
Tegan Nox defeated Chelsea Green.
Drew McIntyre defeated The Miz with a Future Shock DDT.
In the main event, Gunther defeated Tomasso Ciampa to retain the Intercontinental Title. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci attacked Ciampa after the match. Johnny Gargano made the save. The show ended with the DIY reunion.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the October 2nd episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.511 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
