This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The Judgment Day kicked off the show to celebrate Dirty Dominik Mysterio’s NXT North American Title win. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens interrupted the celebration. Zayn then challenged Dominik to a match for the NXT North American Title. Rhea Ripley said that Dominik accepted the challenge.
Becky Lynch faced Zoey Stark in a singles match. In the closing moment, Trish Stratus tried to interfere, but Becky took her out. The Man then delivered a Manhandle Slam on Stark to win the match. Becky Lynch earned the opportunity to face Trish Stratus at SummerSlam.
Cody Rhodes came to the ring to respond to Brock Lesnar’s attack last week. The American Nightmare vowed to end the feud against The Beast at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
Dirty Dominik defeated Sami Zayn to retain the NXT North American Title. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley attacked Kevin Owens backstage. They dragged Owens to the ramp during the match. Zayn was distracted after his best friend was attacked by Priest and Ripley. Dominik then rolled up Zayn to retain the title.
The Eradicator brutally attacked Liv Morgan before the match began. The medical staff then checked on Liv.
Drew McIntyre vs. Gunther for the Intercontinental Title made official for SummerSlam. McIntyre defeated Ludwig Kaiser in a singles match. Imperium then attacked The Scottish Warrior. Matt Riddle then made the save.
In the final segment, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor signed the contract for their SummerSlam. The Judgment Day members surrounded Rollins and attacked him. Sami Zayn came to help The Visionary but he also was attacked by the faction.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the July 24th episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.818 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.57 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (July 17) did an average of 1.855 million viewers on USA Network and a 0.57 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
