This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Cody Rhodes kicked off the show to talk about the Royal Rumble match. Drew McIntyre interrupted him. McIntyre told Cody, “You are gonna finish the story, but not before I finish mine.” The Scottish Warrior then blamed Cody for interacting with CM Punk and bringing Jey Uso to RAW. McIntyre then said that he would have been the World Heavyweight Champion if Damian Priest hadn’t interfered in the match. Cody Rhodes reminded Drew McIntyre that he beat him in 2014.
In a backstage segment, R-Truth handed Damian Priest his cut from the Judgment Day t-shirt sale. Priest then told Truth to sell the t-shirts quietly.
DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa) defeated Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) in a Tag Team match.
Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell defeated Chelsea Green & Piper Niven in a Tag Team match.
In a backstage segment, Damian Priest showed Judgment Day members the money he received from R-Truth.
The match between Ludwig Kaiser and Xavier Woods ended in a double count-out.
Akira Tozawa defeated Ivar with help from Maxxine Dupri.
Rhea Ripley came to the ring to address the fans. Becky Lynch interrupted Rhea. Becky told Rhea that she wanted to prove that she was better than Rhea. The Man said that she would win the Royal Rumble match to take the Women’s World Championship off of Rhea Ripley. The Eradicator told The Man, “I’ll see you at WrestleMania.”
Damian Priest & Finn Balor defeated R-Truth & The Miz in a Tag Team match.
Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark defeated Tegan Nox & Natalya in a Tag Team match.
In the main event, Seth Rollins defeated Jinder Mahal to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the January 15th episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.419 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
