This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City, Canada. Sami Zayn kicked off the show to address the hometown fans. The Judgment Day surrounded him. Kevin Owens then made his return and challenged two members of Judgment Day to a Tag Team match in the main event.
The New Day defeated Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle. After the match, The Viking Raiders attacked Kofi, Xavier, and Riddle. The Scottish Warrior made the save.
Chad Gable defeated Gunther by count-out for the Intercontinental Title. However, The Ring General is still the Intercontinental Champion.
In a pre-recorded segment, Shinsuke Nakamura revealed that he whispered to Seth Rollins that he knows Rollins has a back issue.
Rhea Ripley squashed Candice LeRae. After the match, Raquel Rodriguez and Ripley got into a brawl. Rodriguez said that she is medically cleared to compete. She challenged Ripley to a match for the Women’s World Title at Payback.
Akira Tozawa defeated The Miz via a roll-up pin.
Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark in a Falls Count Anywhere match was made official for next week.
Chelsea Green & Piper Niven defeated Katana Chance & Kayden Carter in a Tag Team match.
In the main event, Judgment Day (Damian Priest and Finn Balor) defeated Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens by disqualification. The faction attacked Zayn & Owens. Cody Rhodes came to the aid, and he challenged Judgement Day to a Six-Man Tag Team match. Rhodes, Zayn & Owens won the match.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the August 21st episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.591 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (August 14) did an average of 1.757 million viewers on USA Network and a 0.55 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
