Roman Reigns is currently working as a part-timer in WWE. Reigns sporadically appears on WWE television to maintain the Bloodline storyline. Despite being a part-timer, Reigns didn’t take a long hiatus since his 2020 return.
The Tribal Chief is scheduled to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event on night two of WrestleMania 39. Many fans are saying that Cody should dethrone Roman Reigns.
WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport that Roman Reigns is scheduled to take a long hiatus.
“I can imagine there’s probably a significant break, at least a month even longer, until there’s a major show that requires Roman Reigns. You may not see him until SummerSlam though. He’ll be away for a little bit.”
WrestleVotes further noted that Reigns’ hiatus depends on whether or not he loses the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 39.
“Adding to this: I’m told this is contingent on if / when Reigns eventually loses the titles. As of now, those plans are not certain.”
