This past Saturday, Cody Rhodes faced Brock Lesnar in the main event at WWE Backlash premium live event. In the closing moment, Brock Lesnar put a Kimura Lock on Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare overturned the submission to pin the Beast and picked up the victory.

Yesterday, WWE announced the competitors of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Two Triple Threat matches will take place tonight on RAW and the other two Triple Threat matches will be taking place on the upcoming SmackDown. Cody Rhodes is also included in the tournament.
WRKD Wrestling reported that the storyline between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar isn’t finished yet. The Beast could interfere in Cody’s match tonight.

It appears that the rematch between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will take place on Saturday, May 27th at the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
