This past Tuesday’s WWE NXT kicked off with Global Heritage Invitational Final between Butch and Joe Coffey. Butch won the match and he will face Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup at No Mercy.
Trick Williams defeated Joe Gacy after hitting a running knee.
Baron Corbin defeated Josh Briggs with an End of Days. After the match, Corbin got into a brawl with Bron Breakker.
Out The Mud defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in a Tag Team match.
Eddy Thorpe defeated Dijak in a Strap match. Dijak attacked Thorpe with the leather belt after the bout.
Thea Hail defeated Dani Palmer with a Kimura Lock.
Trick Williams earned the NXT North American Title opportunity by defeating Axiom, Dragon Lee, and Tyler Bate in a Fatal Four-Way match. Williams will face Dominik Mysterio for the title at No Mercy.
Tony D’Angelo and Stacks announced that they will defend their NXT Tag Team Titles against The Creed Brothers, Out the Mud, and Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo in a Fatal Four-Way match at No Mercy.
Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov signed the contract ahead of their match at No Mercy.
The show ended with Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker crashing through a wall into Shawn Michael’s office.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the September 26th episode of WWE NXT drew 636,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
