This past Tuesday’s WWE NXT kicked off with NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. The Man was interrupted by Lyra Valkyria, Indi Hartwell, and Roxanne Perez. All three women demanded an NXT Women’s Title opportunity. Becky announced that the winner of the Triple Threat match between them would face her for the title on Night One of Halloween Havoc.
Butch & Tyler Bate defeated Gallus in a Tag Team match. Joe Coffey and Gallus attacked Butch and Bate after the bout. Ridge Holland made the save.
Lyra Valkyria defeated Indi Hartwell and Roxanne Perez in a Triple Threat match to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Gigi Dolin defeated Blair Davenport.
Kelani Jordan defeated Izzi Dame to qualify for the next round of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne faced Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez in a Tag Team match. Hail put the Kimura Lock on Lopez and picked up the victory.
Carmelo Hayes told the camera crew that he was leaving the building because Trick Williams didn’t need his help. Hayes also said that John Cena will be in his corner during his match against Bron Breakker.
In the main event, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio defeated Trick Williams with help from The Judgment Day members to become a 2-time NXT North American Champion.
Before the broadcast ended, Paul Heyman announced that he would be in Breakker’s corner next Tuesday.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the October 3rd episode of WWE NXT drew 857,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
