This week’s WWE NXT kicked off with the match between Wes Lee and Tyler Bate for the NXT North American Championship. Mustafa Ali was the special guest referee. In the end, Wes Lee was able to retain the title. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe became the No. 1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Titles after defeating Hank & Tank and Briggs & Jensen in a Triple Threat Tag Team match. Blade and Enofe are scheduled to face Gallus for the titles next Tuesday on NXT.
In the main event, Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Bron Breakker. Following the match, Finn Balor ambushed Rollins. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams then came to the ring to make the save.
According to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily, the June 20th episode of WWE NXT drew 773,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (June 13) drew 581,000 viewers on USA Network a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
