NXT North American Champion Dirty Dominik Mysterio and the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley kicked off this past Tuesday’s NXT. Wes Lee interrupted them and said that he wanted a rematch. Mustafa Ali then came to the ring and said that he was supposed to defeat Lee for the title. Ali then accidentally called Lee a clown. Dominik bragged about himself. Ali then attempted to punch Dominik, which accidentally hit Lee. The two got into a brawl while Dom & Rhea left the ring.
Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, and Ilja Dragunov faced The Schism in a Six-Man Tag Team match. Hayes hit a Leg Drop on Joe Gacy to pick up the victory.
Von Wagner defeated Javier Bernal. After the match, Wagner put Bernal through the announcers’ table. Bron Breakker then delivered a spear on Wagner.
Dana Brooke faced Cora Jade in a Kendo Stick match. Brooke delivered a senton bomb on Jade to win the match.
Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Bronco Nima & Lucien Price in a Tag Team match.
In the main event, Rhea Ripley defeated Lyra Valkyria in a non-title match.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the July 25th episode of WWE NXT drew 703,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (July 18) drew 746,000 viewers on USA Network a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
