This past Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT kicked off with The Judgment Day. NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams interrupted Judgment Day and challenged them to a tag team match.
Andre Chase and Duke Hudson defeated Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak in a Tag Team match.
Cora Jade defeated Kelani Jordan with a DDT. After the match, Jade attempted to hit Jordan with a Baseball bat, but Dana Brooke made the save.
Ilja Dragunov defeated Bron Breakker to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship. Drgunov will face Carmelo Hayes for the title at Great American Bash.
In a backstage segment, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio challenged Wes Lee for the North American Championship. The match will take place next Tuesday on NXT.
Tiffany Stratton defeated Ivy Nile in a non-title match.
In the main event, Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) defeated Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in a Tag Team match.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the July 11th episode of WWE NXT drew 671,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (July 4) drew 508,000 viewers on USA Network a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
