This past Tuesday’s WWE NXT kicked off with the Women’s Iron Survivor qualifying match. Fallon Henley faced Kiana James, Roxanne Perez, and Thea Hail in a Fatal 4-Way match. Henley won the bout by pinning Hail with a Shining Wizard.
Wes Lee came to the ring on crutches and said that he wouldn’t be able to compete at Deadline. Lee announced that he required back surgery. Dominik Mysterio came to the ring and said he wouldn’t have to defend the NXT North American Title due to Lee’s injury. Rey Mysterio appeared on the big screen and announced that Dom would defend his title against Dragon Lee at Deadline.
Lola Vice defeated Tatum Paxley.
Alpha Academy faced Meta-Four in a Six-Person Tag Team match. Noam Dar tapped out to Chad Gable’s Ankle Lock.
The Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Summit ended in a huge brawl.
Nathan Frazer vs. Axiom ended in a No Contest.
Tyler Bate qualified for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge by defeating Carmelo Hayes, Eddy Thorpe, and Joe Coffey in a Fatal 4-Way match.
In the final segment, Ilja Dragunov and Baron Corbin met face-to-face before their upcoming match at Deadline.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the December 5th episode of WWE NXT drew 626,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
