This past Tuesday’s WWE NXT kicked off with Cora Jade addressing the fans. Lyra Valkyria interrupted Cora and said that she’s now the NXT Women’s Champion. Blair Davenport told Lyra that she would become the new champion at New Year’s Evil. Nikita Lyons then told Blair that she didn’t forget what Blair did to her in the parking lot. The four women got into a brawl, and babyfaces got the upper hand.
Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen, and Fallon Henley defeated The Meta-Four Six-Person Tag Team match.
Oba Femi defeated Miles Borne to qualify for the next round of the NXT Men’s Breakout tournament.
Dragon Lee defeated Tyler Bate to retain the NXT North American Championship.
Riley Osborne defeated Keanu Carver to advance to the next round of the NXT Men’s Breakout tournament.
Blair Davenport and Cora Jade defeated Lyra Valkyria and Nikita Lyons in a Tag Team match.
In the final segment, Ilja Dragunov congratulated Trick Williams on winning the Iron Survivor Challenge. Dragunov then told Williams that he would retain the title at New Year’s Evil. Camelo Hayes came to the ring and accused Dragunov of attacking Williams and him. Hayes tried to grab Dragunov’s championship, but it hit Williams in the face.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the December 12th episode of WWE NXT drew 678,000 viewers on USA Network and a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
